Can't believe I still dig this app after all these years

I like tumblr but I don’t like that ads auto play audio even when I have all the settings for autoplay turned off. I’ve reported the ad at least 20 times and even weeks later nothing has been done. The ad is for candy crush and I wish I could crush the ad into dust

I eschew guilt as a waste of human emotion. I suspect there are some who would say my tendency toward the kind of material to which I am drawn on this app is something of which I should be ashamed. I’m not. That it has increased my screen time and distracted me from more serious endeavor . . . perhaps.

Against a lot of odds Tumblr is still fun and more importantly, useful. It’s very very useful and I’m glad it’s still active.

But I think that need a little bit more of ai like a search engine for similar images like Pinterest or Google that can help to promote more the tumblr accounts in general

Tumblr app is a great platform for sharing and reading about technology the and decorating and just about everything else. The platform has an amazing content of categories of interests or hobbies. It also attracts some top talent!

What happened to the queue button/icon on posts?!? Y'all gave us the ability to queue posts easily. Now we're back to doing this in 5 or more steps. DUMB!!!

love blogging, looking at pretty pictures and discovering new music through this app. wish the filtering was better and that the search function were better

Ive had Tumblr since 2010 i was 14 when i made it and it became a huge part of my life years ago. I can privately speak on my feelings and have random people reaching out and helping each other is really a beautiful thing. I've posted texts,pictures,gifs throughout all the years and I truly love all the mobile app updating that has been done over time. I couldn’t and wouldn’t live without my tumbr it’s basically a diary ive had for over 10 years now. Thank you to everyone at tumblr for making it amazing and constantly working at the problems your app users face. The only thing id really love is like possibly a badge or something that can go next to your name after youve hard your tumblr a certain amount of time maybe 1-2 years bronze 2-4 silver 6-8 gold 8-10 platinum 10 plus diamond lol idk just an idea thank you 🙏🏽

Tumblr is thought of as a web browser sort of social media, but its app is even better. If you like social media with graphics & pics, this is for you. It’s much better quality for posting your pics than others like IG. The navigation is fairly intuitive and there’s options for tabbed browsing of your different feeds. You can also style text in your posts! There’s not only bold & italic, but colors & fonts! The social media site’s culture is one of fandom (any media, any type), and you can post “adult” content (within reason) as long as you label it correctly. It’s not bowdlerized like other sites, no codewords like “unaliving” here, just say your words!

i love this app. i have forever. one of the best features is being able to queue posts so you don’t bombard followers’ feeds. and with Fast Queue i was able to do that as easily as reblogging. for some reason, that feature isn’t working anymore on my phone, even though the setting is still turned on under the Tumblr Labs in settings. i’d love for this to get resolved since this is definitely impacting how frequently i open the app

Tumblr has been a comfort app for over 15 years.

Please put the fast queue button back. That’s my favorite feature and you took it away.

i feel like i’m forced to come back to the app store every year to renew my hateful review of this app. it’s borderline unusable because the ads you need to scroll past are so sensitive and open if your finger even slightly touches them. i really hate what you’ve done to this website and app. truly shame on you.

I adore Tumblr. It’s an app for you to curate your experience. To find the things you like and share it with others. It about finding joy and things you like~! The jokes or ‘cringe’ are part of the fun of sharing. It is about enjoying yourself and there always going to be bad eggs and those there in bad faith. But blocking your friend, the follows are your community, and you are the one that decides your experience not an algorithm.

Every other post I just repost using the swipe up to report quickly isn’t working properly

Needs way less/smaller ads

The ads now autoplay audio even when the phone is silent and they have taken away my beautiful quick queue button. They’ve also brought ‘tumblr tv’ in again. I miss when this site was good :(

New update won’t allow me to post half the time. Nothing happens when trying to make a new post. And even when I do manage to get something, it gets lost when I try to save it to drafts. :/ it’s more than frustrating.

Tumblr is amazing! I’ve had one for over 14 years. I wish they removed the sensitive settings, but it’s a great app for self expression.

sick of dead spaces ran by ads and algorithm focused bots? firm believer in the dead internet theory? tumblr is a spot without an algorithm. this has the benefits of this as well as the downsides so it may take adjustment but i always come back to the community here.

Update is really ugly. I was hoping it was an April fools prank because the circle pfp and insanely small notes button compared to the icons throws off the entire post.

What the tin says basically, can’t edit my tags on a post I reblogged and it’s annoying.

I patrolling the AppStore per usual, however I stumbled upon the most intricate and creative platform, tumblr. I have discorded many fetishes and fandoms I want to explore. However this much yaoi can be to powerful for a human may I said handsome man as of myself. Dare I say this could be the powers of a higher elite controlling my destiny. I have gooned to so much yaoi it has turned purple, bruised, a bumpy with lumps. I physically cannot stand this torture and may have to cut back on my yiph (yaoi intake per hour). This is causing hardships on my family. Anywho back to my story. I was perusing the tumblr feed and discorved yaoi. At first I wanted to learn more but as it got more hot I couldn’t take it. After my mother walked in, she couldn’t handle the sight her of her som doing such a thing and kicked me out. Sigh, another cog in the plan of me, my yaoi, and my current living situation. Anywhos toodles and back to my tumblr.
